HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT CONTEST
The competition for Students will be a Weave Hair Cut and Style on MONDAY May 21st. The Rules are as follows:
1. Cut must match the style of a celebrity hair cut (picture will be provided on site)
2. Prior to competition student's model should be dresses, make-up done and accessorized
3. Contestant must provide their own model, styling cap, supplies and outfit
4. Pre-braiding or pre-wrapping is allowed
5. Cutting and styling is a requirement
6. Live model required
7. Contestant is allowed an assistant
8. Set time is 11am, start time is 11:30am
9. Contestant is has one-hour to complete a full-head of extensions which includes cut and style
10. Program host will provide hair
11. Two minute stage presentation upon completion
Judges will determine 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place student winners
Cash prizes of $200-1st Place, $150-2nd Place and $100-3rd Place
High Schools will receive Trophy Prize for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Winner

VOCATIONAL SCHOOL CONTEST
The competition for Vocational School Students will be a Fantasy contest on MONDAY May 21st. The Rules are as follows:

This will be a School Team Project, Four (4) Students are Permitted:
*Team will come with your model completed at 11am
*Team and your model can walk around the show until judging begins
*People will want to take pics of your model throughout the day
*Judging will be done on site
*Model will be Judged on several categories such as:
Most Creative, Most Neat, Largest Creation, Most Futuristic
*Model will have a two-minute Main Stage walk
*Models must be born legally female
*ABSOLUTELY NO NUDITY IS PERMITTED (Family Friendly Event)
*Judges will determine 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place student winners
*Cash prizes of $200, $150 and $100
*Schools will receive Trophy Prize for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Student Winners
The celebrity host for this event will be actor, model and singer Diggy Simmons.

What Is Hair & Fashion Battle?
Hair & Fashion Battle is a professional competition & trade-show presented for the benefit of enhancement of your learning and understanding in the field of hair and fashion. This event will feature the top salons and designers from the Tri-State area (PA, Ohio and WV) who will showcase and compete in the areas of hair, make-up and fashion for cash and other prizes. With our diverse battle and showcase this event will highlight the most innovative stylists and designers in our region and showcase their unique hair and fashion styles worn by trendy fashionistas from every background, body shape & size for this amazing themed BATTLE.
The evening and all the presentation will be judged by national cosmetology expert judges and hosted by celebrity guests. Adding to the battle, a wide array of vendors will be present giving attendees a chance to shop and network with different businesses in the areas of fashion, accessories, and styling & education. Special Programs will keep the event energetic and professionally coordinate the fashion show and cocktail party atmosphere with special performances, entertainers, vendors and prizes for attendees.

HAIR SHOW Requirements:
Any salon or cosmetology school can enter the "performance art" show and become an ACTIVE SALON PARTNER.
To enter and become an ACTIVE SALON PARTNER:
Your salon or cosmetology school must sale 50 tickets at $20 each which you re-sell (typically for $25. No Active Salon Partner has ever - not sold all of their tickets! (Plus you collect an added $5 from each ticket sold for a charity, or you may keep it to help defray your costs!)
*Ticket prices are based on venue, celeb host and other considerations*.
*Tickets are (typically*) $40 at the door*!
*Minimum 50 tickets = $250 to defray your costs, or a $250 donation*.
*When you sell all your tickets - your entry becomes free!*

Salons and cosmetology school must make their intentions to be a "presenter salon" to the producer at least 2 months prior to the show date.
Salons must present the skit idea and music to the co-ordinator at least 1 month prior to event.
A "burned" music CD containing the music to be used for the "skit" MUST be delivered to the co-ordinator at least one week prior to show date.
When a clothing store is involved a similar arrangement, ticket sales for involvement must be made as the store will get the same *FREE* advertising and either a donation to a charity, or defray their costs.
Preliminary Round Contest Winners will be selected by Crowd Participation. Crowd will select Winners for first Round who will then move on to the Final Round with Winners to be selected by Our Celebrity Judges.
Asking clothing stores and designers to be involved is a part of this project. Clothing stores or clothing designers are sometimes necessary for the "skits" to be successful.
Salons or cosmetology schools may request a certain clothing store that they do not have a relationship with. We will make the first overture to the store for involvement, if asked. But the salons and cosmetology schools themselves are the ones that sell the idea to the store.

This contest will be between Barbershops in the Tri-state region. We are looking for the best and most creative Barbers in this area. Below are the Rules and Categories for the Competition. Haircut Categories
LOW FADE W/ BEARD (Pre-Cut and Judged at Venue)
This battle is an everyday cut battle that is all about a good clean haircut. The low fade must be a true low fade not mid or high. The length on the top must be at least 1.5″ and the sides must be bald to show full transition. Model will be judged on fade, transitions, shape up, beard, overall cut.
OLD SCHOOL (Pre-Cut and Judged at Venue)
This competition is a throwback to the 80’s haircuts like Flat top, Gumby, Staircase, with parts and or color. The judging will be based on cleanliness of cut, fading, shaping, overall look of the cut. Designs are accepted but will not give you extra points.
FREE-STYLE DESIGN – (60 min on Site)
This is for any barber that wants to show off their artistry skills and creativity from simple to the most complex design. Barbers will be judged on how creative and clean their cut/design is. There is no color used in this contest during the competition, but you may pre-color with permanent color at least 24 hrs before competition. There are to be no pre-cuts. Barbers will be judged on the complexity, creativity, the design, and overall haircut. There are no extra points given or deducted for color usage. Theme Outfit is not judged in this competition but is welcomed.
GRAFF ETCH HAIR ART COMPETITION – (30 min on Site)
This competition is to show your hair art capability. This free competition does allow you to pre-cut your models design, then finish it on stage. There is a 30 minute period allowed to finish your model. Judging will be based on creativity, color usage, cleanliness, overall look
